I Went on an Adventure! and The Rest of the Rust

I must say, I love this time of year in Alaska.  It's chilly, but not cold.  The roads aren't very pretty, but out in the woods you can pull on your snow pants and go tramping through snow up to your waist!  My friend and I went on an adventure two nights ago.  We hiked through the snow and through the woods, we shot moose and cooked them over an open fire.  And then we reached a long, open place where dog mushers run.  But before we went home, we buried ourselves in the snow, made snow angels, and took pictures.  All of this we did in less than two hours.  Except for the moose, of course.  We imagined the moose.  I would post pictures, but my friend has all of them.  When I packed for the event, I made sure that I had my camera with me.  But when we got there, nope, it wasn't in the bag!  Of course, after unpacking back at home, I found it.  Where?   In the bag.  Oh, some things I do not understand.  But that's OK.
Now, for the rest of pictures I took of my orange dress.  I hope you enjoy them, I'm off to get out of bed and begin my Sunday.  God bless!

I tried to capture the moon . . .

The moon was so full last Saturday night; I had to try to capture it.  But my camera is well used and not in it's best condition, nor is it very high quality.  To say it plainly, I did not capture the moon last saturday.  But I tried.  I'll use a tripod next time instead of my shakey hands.
So here is my attempt.  I did not photoshop or mess with this picture.  This is exactly how it turned out.

Purple and Golden

I think it is safe to say that my last day of spring break has been wasted.  I'm very tired and don't want to babysit tonight, but I need the money.  Here is a dress I got at the fair last year.  After this post it'll be school, school, school until it's time to leave.  A movie tonight, perhaps.  We'll see.

Another Classic. . . FINISHED!

Spring break is here!  Of course, it's not spring yet.  There are still gray, sooty piles of snow along the side of the road.  However, summer is coming; I can smell it in the air.
The first thing I did this spring break was finish another book.  I mentioned before how I wanted to get more familiar with the classics.  This one was a story I already knew from the movie and from hearing it acted out on CD.  It's always nice to actually read it though.  This one, was Anne of Green Gables
Though none of the stories were new to me, I really enjoyed hearing them in the way they were originally written.  Lucy Maud Montgomery truly had a gift for making pictures out of words.  I'm very excited about digging into the next in the series, Anne of Avonlea.

Orange Rust on the Floor

I am currently in bed sipping tea, listening to music, and feeling cozy in my favorite sweater.  But it's time to turn off the music, get my thinking gears grinding and get some writing done.
My sister gave me this dress in exchange for a different one both of us wanted.  The shoes are from Value Villiage, as is most of my clothes.  The dress reminds me of a rusty old orange car.  But I like it.
P.S.  My friends are now safely moved into their new home.  The house is very quiet.
