Spring break is here! Of course, it's not spring yet. There are still gray, sooty piles of snow along the side of the road. However, summer is coming; I can smell it in the air.
The first thing I did this spring break was finish another book. I mentioned before how I wanted to get more familiar with the classics. This one was a story I already knew from the movie and from hearing it acted out on CD. It's always nice to actually read it though. This one, was Anne of Green Gables.
Though none of the stories were new to me, I really enjoyed hearing them in the way they were originally written. Lucy Maud Montgomery truly had a gift for making pictures out of words. I'm very excited about digging into the next in the series, Anne of Avonlea.
